Peter Ainsworth has been reappointed as Chairman of the Big Lottery Fund for an additional four years. Nat Sloane, has also been retained as the Chairman of Big Lottery Fund’s England Committee for another four years. There are a few new appointments as well who will join the board soon. These changes and additions were expected for quite some time now, but are only now slowly coming into effect.
Big Lottery Fund board up for a big overhaul
Till now, the Big Lottery Fund board had a total of 9 members. But effective from June 2015, this number will go up to 12 members. The new appointments will also come into effect from June. A little about the newer members of the board.
Natalie Campbell is a social entrepreneur as well as a business coach and author. She is the Director of Kensington Creates and Founding Partner of A Very Good Company at the time of appointment to the Big Lottery Fund board. She has worked with a number of big organizations in the past, holding key positions in each of these.
Rachael Robathan has been into investment management for over 20 years, focusing mainly on emerging markets. She has been elected to the Westminster City Council Cabinet where she manages a part of public health and social care for adults and veterans. She is also a member of a number of other organizations, where she fulfils major responsibilities.
Both Rachael and Natalie will be joining the Big Lottery Board from the 1st of June, 2015.
